Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese stress reduction and relaxation technique that promotes healing. A Reiki session can be in person or by distance. 

 

Ancient cultures believe that “Life force energy” flows through the body, and imbalances and stress may affect our health and well-being. If one’s “Life Force energy” is depleted, we are more likely to get sick and feel unwell. 

 

Sensei Usui Mikao rediscovered the practice of Reiki in Japan and is now accepted as a complementary treatment used for the reduction of pain, relaxation, and a sense of balance and well-being. Reiki is now offered in many cancer centers, and hospice centers, and is appropriate for patients in any state of healing. 

 

Distant Reiki session

Receiving Reiki is relaxing, nurturing, and comforting. Most people feel a sensation of warmth and fall into a deep relaxation similar to meditation. 

Sessions are offered by Zoom at this time in the comfort of your own home.

Reiki training

Reiki is a simple technique that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of life force energy to clear any blockages and restore balance to the physical body.

Reiki is taught in three levels. Reiki is easy to learn. It has been taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
